the mastodon admin interface lets you approve or reject hashtags before they appear on your instance, but it doesn't give you that level of control for whether to federate with other instances despite the extremely well known presence of many nazi/terf/hate instances and the continual emergence of new ones

just because we live in an unjust society where there is no ethical consumption or production does not mean you no longer have a duty to minimize the harm you cause and put into the world

get a real degree in something like queer studies or critical race theory or some shit, not stem, not if you're gonna use it to build weapons
