@LANthus but yeah thinking about it James Pond 2: Robocod was another game that I got when I was a kid, though that was on way more platforms than just hte megadrive. I had a choice between that and Cyborg Justice apparently, and my parents decided on Robocod. At first I was like "YEAH!!" but then I was like "oh dang maybe I should haev gotten the other". Onyl when I tried a rom of Cyborg Justice did I realise I definitely made the right choice originally e_e;

@LANthus Yeah it was published by EA but exclusively for the megadrive/genesis. It's... not a good game tbh. It got pretty good reviews by all accounts but is one of those lesser known ones, but having played it more recently, it's not good. It's long, slow, plodding and a little obtuse at times, and the bosses are very unfair. Miss one critter in that huge long slog btw at any point and forget to go back and get them and it's bad ending for you~

@LANthus *hifive*
here's Rolo the Elephant btw I think it was actually named Rolo to the Rescue tho maybe. I was pretty sure it was Rolo the Elephant in the UK tho. I dunno. youtube.com/watch?v=V36QGbUkso Basically you're a baby elephant. You and your mum are kidnapped by the circus, but you escape and go to rescue all the other kidnapped critters and save the forest that you apparently live in despite being an elephant and also have to go to the moon at some points ... I dunno. It's...weird.

here's a few things I like unironically that are generally regarded as trash.

Sonic R (specifically its music mostly)
Rolo the Elephant (I like its music and the game is adorable and cute and yeah the bosses are awful but I still love it)
The Street Fighter 2 live action film (pretty much only because of Raul Julia who gives 200% goddamn percent in a movie that is undeniably awful. plus some great lines from various characters in it. so much fun)

I refuse to feel shame for these things.

I know. there aren't any ;w; there are hearts and other similar insignia dotted all through your document.
or worse, no character at all. just a tribute.

WELP only one I could do with the extra cable anyway tbh. They aren't especially exciting to fight or challenging.

@SilviaFox@sleeping.town nah but this is why I was thinking of getting jalopy because it's not just driving it's alos building the car and I dunno that somehow really appeals to me

okay i think i'll try viscera cleanup detail because chilling out by cleaning place of gibs is probably an okay way to chill out. not the cutest but hey.

violence, videogame

@troubleMoney ...holy shit I actually am kinda interested now.

kinda a bit - , a bit vague,

@SilviaFox@sleeping.town hee, nah, more chill than that, though that is an excellent suggestion. Which reminds me I should pick up their second game, Into the Breach at some point. it looks super cool

kinda a bit - , a bit vague,

@SilviaFox@sleeping.town ya i Know but I need something kinda sedate right now, not super actiony.

kinda a bit - , a bit vague,

@SilviaFox@sleeping.town I'm really bad at multiplayer games, I get super anxious about them even if it's coop except with certain people and then I only ever end up playing it with them, and then if they lose interest I nver play it again :<

I could try VCD tho. that might be okay to zone out to
