oh what the heck night in the woods weird autumn edition has... new NPCs and shit too?? and also I don't know if this was a thing originally but the bass in Mae's room is playable? and you can play songs? includiung a new song called Space Dragon which I'm assuming is a sogn to teach you how to play the guitar minigames, and you can also replay songs you play in game like Die Anywhere Else (my fave) at your leisure if you want??

but also after the party "Go Get Dead Angel Face" is a choice.

on one hand i am SUPER curious to see what they've done with the Build engine because not gonna lie that engine was... surprisingly pretty powerful? Could do some rad stuff with it, despite being a somewhat basic 2.5d fps game engine. But still. It was pretty neat.

They say they've beefed it up considerably and I'm like "oh dang I kinda wanna see how"

but on the other...

I mean, granted it's barely a resi game because it starts off like eldrich horror game and then it goes into cheesey 90s action film ...pretty much the moment you leave the first village.

it';s a blast mind, just pretty hard to take seriously.
