@heyheather@snouts.online Ooh, I don't think so no. I was only on Mirtazapine at the time, though even though I am taking Sertraline along with Delmosart (for my ADHD), I didn't have to stop taking that when I went on Sertraline. I think it's just that particular medication rather than EVERYTHING.

at least, it shouldn't. they just want the week's time to get any remaining of the mirtazapine out of your system fully.

Food / gluten free dough tips

-Gluten free flour needs xanthan gum in it to make cake and pastries. The gum helps hold the dough together. Some gluten free flour contains the gum already.

-Gluten free dough is very crumbly and not stretchy. It’s stickier than wheat flour and you’ll need flour on your board and rolling pin to prevent sticking.

-Gluten free cakes and pasty will cook more quickly then wheat flour based ones.

-Any extra moisture such as from an egg or water will make the dough really sticky and hard to roll.

-chill the dough before use.

-brush milk onto gluten free pasty to help it brown. Unless you’re making something like a custard tart, the pastry will adsorb the milk already present.

HHhhmmmm.

now that I've beaten the Outer Wilds (got the best ending too. <3 ) what should I play next?

my "Current Run" games that I need to play are Bayonetta, FF15, Ghost of a Tale, aaand... hm. I guess I should try Hardspace: Shipbreaker as well again?

@heyheather@snouts.online Anyway, yeah! Go rest, it'll kinda suck, but if I recall rightly, other than it basically making you lose an entire day per dose, there's no bad side effects, jsut... talk to the doctor about how it was way too strong to try something else if you can asap because they'll probably want you to not take anything for a week before trying anything new. D:

med talk

@heyheather@snouts.online No problem! I hope you feel better when it wears out. Mirtazapine is apparently like... suuuuuper fuckin' strong. like when I went back on medication for anxiety after getting a proper diagnosis finally, and I mentioned it, my doctor was like "oof, yeeeahh, that's... really strong dosage you were on, normally you're not supposed to be on that strong a dose unless there's good reasons, leeet's try you on sertraline instead."

med talk

@heyheather@snouts.online like, when it had properly worn off the NEXT DAY, a full 24 hours later, I called them again to EXPLAIN what happened the day before after I called my doctor to ask what to do, cause WWWWOW.

med talk

@heyheather@snouts.online oh god I was on mirtazapine very, VERY briefly.

...

it did exactly that to me too ._.; Like, I had to call into work because I was so friggin doped out of my eyeballs from it that I literally was speaking slow enough that my manager thought I might be drunk until I explained, and... it took a while because I legit had to expend energy i probably didn't HAVE to keep focus long enough to string five words together without dozing off.
