@heatherhorns Hmm. That honestly is not a thing I ever considered? I mean, it's possible I guess, but no it doesn't bother me at all. I mean, we're all a product of our experiences, what shapes us as people is the events that happen to us. Our neurodivergency is part of thjat, ergo yes it definitely shaped us.

That said, not every ADHD person is a furry, nor is every neurotypical person NOT a furry. or trans, or anything like that. We just... are I guess. ^^

@heatherhorns ...granted so was me realising I was a) not cis and b) why my previous sonas never felt like they fi.

...honestly it was like a triple fuckin' whammy of realisations all at once =w=;;

Granted I started on Mastodon shortly after these last two, the realisation about how bad my ADHD really was, was... uh... VERY shortly after that though.

@heatherhorns god, yeah, my realisation that my ADHD was not, as I had previously been told for ABSOLUTELY DECADES was "you just suck at focusing on things", and was in fact "oh also you will suffer from dissassociation, sensory overload, be literally unable to stay physically still for any - and we do mean LITERALLY ANY - amount of time, will have constant anxiety, and various other debilitating things have fun with that", was super recent too.

@bunny_jane I think the idea with the painter's masking tape is that the blue stuff doesn't adhere as much to the plate so it can be peeled off when it's served its purpose without leaving sticky residue on the build plate, especially after the heat of the PLA filament, but also the top absolutely will not let any filament through and won't burn on contact with hot filament? Idk, i've done very little extrusion 3d printing, but the blue masking tape DOES feel different to regular masking tape.
