@aoife Savage?
@legendaryjoeb Oh right! I uninstalled NMS after I got the second ending and was dinking about with other things and was like "yeah think I'm done now lol" maybe way way later I'll give it another shot but I had a good time with it in the meantime!. Much maligned game, rather unfairly for the most part, but it's not like, a world changing game in all honesty. I still had fun tho!
@legendaryjoeb tusky is being odd right now and I have no idea what this is in relationship to I'm afraid as there doesn't seem to be a thread attached
Thought: a spider gal who runs a bar. Patrons come in, she serves drinks and snacks, lets them have a nice quiet time. a lot of folks come there regularly, she even has rooms for people to stay in if they need somewhere to hide or rest. She's super nice even though she sometimes weirds out newbies to the place by calling them her "sweet little prey" and insisting on tucking them into bed at nights with her hand woven bedsheets.
but she really is harmless. She's just a nice host to the patrons!
@socks *a hand shoots up in the class*
professor: "no, not that kind of blow-ups, put the pool toy away"
*another hand shoots up*
professor: "...no not THAT kind of blow-up either. at least, not yet. Please carefully put the detonator down. We don't need it just yet."
@softgoat and yet, like, one of the head people at Sega Japan literally paid tons of money out of his OWN POCKET to make the Dreamcast a reality and it still failed in the end and I just...
...I mean, FUCK Corporations, for real, but... the Dreamcast deserved a far better shout than it ever fuckin' got you know?... I really feel bad for it. :( Not Sega, just the Dreamcast.
@softgoat The dreamcast as a whole is one of the saddest fucking stories ever imo :( Like, Sega itself was already floundering, and their long running, constant feud between their US and Japan corporations was at least partially to blame for this.
The 32X was a mistake and a stopgap measure that should never have been tried, the Saturn came too late, and then the Dreamcast came right after most devs had lost patience with Sega, and all the Saturn owners felt abandoned.
@galaxgal *slams pawbs on desk with a soft 'pap' noise* if polyhedral dice weren't meant to look tastey then they wouldn't make them in gem-like colours!
@batterpunts a 1d√-1
