@daylight there is, but I can't find one that looks like ti either and it's been ages since I've seen one. D: now I'm worried i'm imagining it. i'm certain i've seen them repeatedly though adn they look pretty much identical to a ladybug, shell, ittybittylegs under shell too, cute faces, just... zigzag stripy shells down their back, lengthways. argh.

@daylight oooh, nno not like that at all actually. like, striped lengthways down the shell, tighter together and narrower stripes of both kinds, no big space between them. I think anyway.

@daylight oh heck that reminds me! there's like, a beetle i often see that looks JUST like a ladybug, except its shell is like, yellow and black zigzag stripes?? is that a ladybug ? :o

@legendaryjoeb nah i love the rain but being wet outside the context of a bath or shower is discomforting ^^; it's also cold. ...

genuinely kinda worried about our garden tho because it just... has not stopped all morning. heck. also flood warnings.

@Chel oh yeah completely. I mean ZUN's art was never... super amazing (pixel art tho, real good, ZUN got super great at that and the drawn character art has gotten better as the series continued) but has always been really chill about other artists taking over on side projects and such.

Still no answer on the weirdness with the first five PC-98/Amusement Makers published games and how they relate to the Windows era games' canon tho.

@Chel mostly I just like how it all started with just one person doing everything and hten just... exploded into a massive fan community with people doing huge remix albums of the music, and an entire series of OFFICIAL fighting games and other spinoffs, plus manga, light novels, audio dramas, webcomics, animations (both flash and more traditional)...

it's friggin wild. All from just... girls in frilly outfits with different accessories shooting each other with magical bullets.
