US Politics (+++)

This is Joshua Collins' campaign platform on Trans Rights. He's a socialist trucker running for our 2020 congress in Washington's 10th district (Olympia to south Tacoma), and I am in love with him.

elsewhere in a thread of imagined attributes of fae, I added:

Human language is compelling music to you, all rhythms and melodies. As such, you can mesmerize/lull a human by speaking a version of their native tongue that sounds like it should make sense, but is a half-step removed, like concrete poetry read by a radio announcer. However, you often miss information imparted to you via language because you're nodding your head, tapping your feet to its music, ignoring entirely its intent.

Honeslty I'm not SUPER super bothered by fireworks. I'm not like, afraid of them, I don't have PTSD from them. I'm very priveledged in that aspect. I just... really don't like all the loud noises. it's uncomfortable, intrudes on thoughts, it's distracting, and it scares my kitties. :<

@troubleMoney hell yeah I'm ready for bonfire night! *pulls duvet over head, protects kitties as well, pokes a hand out from under the covers to give a thumbsup*
