Avatar shrugs, snags the crown, goes back, sells it for cashmonies.

@a_breakin_glass @LANthus Lord British summoning the Avatar to deal with the latest crisis and the portal just... stays open for hours... nothing comes through. Lord British awaits. It's days later, still the portal is there.

Years pass. Britannia falls. Lord British has long been deposed. new civilisations arise, the portal still stands, in a sealed crypt, in which Lord British was thrown to await his "saviour" in a cruel punishment for his hubris.

@LANthus I mean let's be real Ultima 7 starts off with a PoV of presumably the Avatar (who is always somehow white, blue eyed, and blonde haired in that game. ) PLAYING Ultima 6 on their PC, booting it up, before the Guardian goes "HEY GAMERS WHAT'S UP LORD BRITISH NEEDS YOUR HELP JUST SEND YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER, THE THREE DIGITS ON THE BACK -" etc and then you take a walk outside and go through a gateway into Britannia so... idk what to tell you about the Ultima series.
