Oh cool! So most of the gameplay is still the same, but there's obviously some new things, like mushrooms as bounce pads, a la ROTT, and of course there's still hostages to rescue, but not just hedgeys this time! Bird people and other things too! :D

...so uh... the opening starts good. You're off to a concert on your skateboard, Scott, your boyfriend apparently, is running along behind you, and lags behind, so you wait for him, annnnd then you hear him get the tar beaten out of him. You rush back to help only to find out the badguy from the first game is still alive (somehow) after, quote "he blew my face off!", but now he's back, and is blowing up the planet, and throws you off a cliff...

... and... you... float? instead of fall???

now to play RISE of the Woolball! Which of course, is a sequel to SHADOW of the Woolball. In which you play the girl instead! Rescuing the other hedgehog! :D :D :D

and it's more inspired by, surprise, the spiritual successor to Wolf3d, Rise of the Triad! This oughtta be fun :3

MC and their girlfriend skipping merrily down a corridoor as they escape from the cat empire's planet (somehow?) hand in hand, as the entire base just merrily explodes behind them both hahaha

aksldf;jksdf the ending of Shadow of the Woolball is JUST as absolutely ridiculous as the rest of it and I'm dyiiing giggling.

@monorail I love how Benrey is just... fuckin'... so calm about everything. like Dr Coomer throws himself off the dam right after Bubby says "I couldn't survive THAT" and then Coomer cuts off mid sentence as he hits the ground and Benrey is just all "...woah bummer. :D "
