@the_gayest_goat_in_town@hellsite.site Bethesda to be fair can make amazingly good looking and feeling worlds. They're great at worldbuilding

they are absolutely bloody awful at EVERYTHING ELSE with regards to games though.

@the_gayest_goat_in_town@hellsite.site It's jank as fuck, it's got some kinda questionable stuff in it occasioanlly, but GOD it's a proper Fallout game, unlike Fallout 3. and 4 apparently. it sjust... it's just really nicely written for the most part you know? and it's FUN!

I love dunking on the legion in this game they're just so absolutely deserving of it. I mean sure you COULD work for them...

but like... who the fuck would CHOOSE to honestly?? Who would look at the Legion and its ideals and go "yeah okay I wanna work for a bunch of misogynistic patriarchal incel LARPers with a boner for colonialism and imperialism" oh wait think I answered my own question huh.

I know it's not intentional but Veronica just sounded so friggin sarcy like, the legion assassin just utterly ignored she was there, got in front of her to threaten the Courier, and she just like "...welp. *DOINK* " and he gets stunned by it, then shot in the face as he's recoiling, going arse over tit, and his head rolls away. like, fuckin' lol, get owned, fash.

So I have Veronica following me around, of course as I am wandering around trying to get to this quest marker, when outta nowhere, a single solitary Legion Assassin comes up behind me and is like
"THE CAESAR HAS MARKED YOU FOR DEATH, AND THE LEGION OBEYS!"
Which swings my view around to face him.
He is on his own.
Veronica is right behind him
