The most interesting characters are all the OTHER side characters, most of which die, and the peasants whose village is being defended.

Honestly there are only a few occasions where classical music is appropriate and the two main ones are:
A: you're at an opera or some other fancy rich fuck do and trying to appear classy for all the other rich fucks you want to impress with your rich fuckery
B: you are a rich fuck who is standing looking out the window of your corporate hq sipping some rich fuck wine while you watch millions of people die due to your direct actions and you feel smug about it because you are a rich fuck
