I'm honestly kinda tempted to break it out and play through it again....

I remember when I first played the game and the fucking intro reduced me to an inconsolable mess. Despite the issues the game had at points with design, I was thoroughly engaged with it. I loved it from start to finish...

The ending rolled and it just fucking wrecked me again. I was sobbing my eyes out continually through the credits... and then there was this last little thing at the end of the credits roll, and WHAM, another rush of emotions.

Just... what a beautiful game it was ;; <3

aaaa fuck i just had a moment like "oh dang Ori and the Will of the Wisps is coming out soon, I remember the first game being really incredible and what a hella good soundtrack it has! I should listen to that again, I wonder why I haven't in so long?"

and then I remembered

because there are tracks that just reduce me to tears almost immediately because of how beautiful they are and the memories they spark
