Misty is being inordinately affectionate with me lately. She's so much happier in this house. and cuddlier. She still has her grumbly moments but just in general she's so much friendlier, especially with strangers too. she doesn't hide for like, hours and hours now when someone unknown comes over, and often even comes up to say hi instead of just staying hidden.
except obviously if there are workmen because of the noise.
It's more or less understandable though! It's not like horrific or anything. It's... pretty good so far! Though it feels kinda like a demo and I think I'm probably most of the way through this game at the moment.
so... Bright Memory Episode 1 is...
...pretty good??
It's stunningly beautiful but it has some performance issues. I keep getting occasional massive frame drops, despite it being smooth as butter 90% of the time (these framedrops coincide with battles D: ).
Stable though, otherwise. no crashes or anything, and fairly well optimised. The english translation is shonky as heck but it's A) Early Access, B) Apparently coded and written by one chinese person, and also C) very indie so y'know.
sad feels about a pet who has sadly left us
oh god I just thought back to how Frankie would try and get me to hurry up and put more food down for him. If I had food being prepared in the kitchen near his bowls, or I was going to fill it with more kibble, he'd stand there, next to my leg, looking up at me and purring and mowling, and just... bump his hips repeatedly against my shin, gently.
I miss that old bugger ;w; he was such a good boy...

My most liked and boosted toot is a throwaway joke that I am like 90% sure now it's the morning someone else already did months ago (maybe even last year) that I put zero effort into because I used foone's Sierra death generator website with the sonic 2 template. I literally put text into a form and it did all the work.
And it's still going omfg
manual CW for infosec, talkinga bout google and facebook and such, data security (very sarcastic article of course, in order to make the point that's probably already known but it was... a little eye opening)
