if it weren't for the fact I'm tired of grindiness and random battles (I find it really unpleasant when the gameplay just goes "aaah you're just walking around isn't this nice and cool look at the lovely scener-FUCK YOU IT'S BATTLE TIME FUCKO AAAAAAAAAAAAA", it really breaks up the flow and i just... i dislike it intensely.) I would probably give FFX-2 a try. I passed over it originally because I was a dingus and didn't give it a fair shot at all.
