@typhlosion I use it to group games together by genre, because sometimes I won't be sure what game I want to play but I'll know I want a platformer, for example
@softgoat step 2 is to put on a green hat with an L on it and then you can start winning
I like to imagine I'd be able to use the fishing rod the same way Isabelle does in Smash :p
@XerTheSquirrel sometimes there are *squirrels* outside and I want to see them
@maple Thankfully I've just been "Nova Storm" for at least the past 9 years and don't intend to change that, but at the same time that's a name that's way too "fantasy" to put anywhere but online.
@behold3r Probably, and realistically if it's a situation where having released an NES game is actually relevant, I'm going to primarily be known by a username anyway.
@claude Unfriendly for C, sure. I'd say a simple BASIC should compile well, and that seems to be what a lot of Atari 2600 homebrewers are doing.
@claude It very well could be; I saw an early ad that bragged about it being easy to use.
I know another big goal was being cheap, and simple follows cheap, and ease of use tends to follow simple.
@XerTheSquirrel Yeah I always buy games on cartridge when I can, though it looks like for lots of indie games that's not an option. At least for PC games if I ever lose a game I can just take it back by force :p
I'm a pretty squirrel princess who dabbles in roleplay, game development, retro game consoles, pixel art, and a variety of computery things.
