I'm using Isabelle as my profile picture for Slack at work, haha

worrying

This is actually a serious problem for me and back in high school I actually only got around 5 hours of sleep a night because of this very issue. I don't think that was very healthy but I don't know what alternatives there are except getting lucky. I wish I had local friends...

I guess I'll see if I'm able to handle it. I might not be able to, and if so I don't know what I'll do. I guess the most drastic thing is moving out west or abandoning CS for a part time thing in another field.

Hahahaha icebreaker question during orientation: "What animal would you be if you could choose one and why"

Of course I said squirrel

No longer being able to stay up until 4 AM is going to mean I'll see a lot of friends much less than I currently do, but hopefully there will be people I was missing out on due to not being awake in the morning to make up for it. EST isn't a good timezone for internet buddies.

@maple when you were complaining about wasabi issues did that count as maple yelling at a cloud

There are a lot of words that signal a particular type of content when they are part of a warning, but are also just plain English words that would not have that association when used in the main text.

I wonder if browser-side toot filtering (with the granularity I'd want it to have, namely control over matching CWs or the main text) would make sense, or if things are set up where that'd be very tricky to insert.

re: ranting about lua again

@kitten I wish squirrel-lang.org would catch on for the sorts of things Lua is used for since it actually has classes, better handling of null, etc.

I bought a green colored 64GB flash drive today (my previous biggest one was 8GB lol) and I don't know what I want to do with all that space, but backing up things that have disappeared from the Internet is a good first choice

Food

I got my own pizza to replace all the pizza I didn't have a chance to eat Monday, so that makes me happy

hammerspace, transformation

@Dex Pretty common thing for me to do considering my interest in inanimate transformation, especially into magic wands:

... and of course I have thought of a metroidvania where you've gotta acquire new wands to unlock new abilities to get past obstacles

@Taris I can get behind this. That's something I ran into myself in trying to figure out how to describe my own fursona without using slurs or it sounding awkward.

At some point along the way I seem to have lost the ability to just sorta fall asleep if I stay up too late. Wonder if that's just because I don't tire myself out enough during the day. :p

I'm replaying Hamtaro: Ham Hams Unite on a whim and I really love all the cuteness and how much animation there is, and just the overall cuteness and lightheartedness of a game based around learning a language

At least for today, it's warm enough to walk outside in shorts and there are squirrels scampering about!

@maple haha it's surreal to run into my game somewhere like there

Quick sketch of a mouse I talk to sometimes named Riza. I guess through this and other instances of it I'm establishing that in my style, when eyes overlap hair, the eyes don't get covered up entirely.

kink, ERP

I made an F-List profile for Sabrina from Sabrina Online after realizing I really like and identify with her and wanted to try to experience being her a bit (and that's my best shot at that) and hilariously every single person who's approached her has been super into vore.

Though to be fair since I don't really like sex, it's probably the only thing on the profile people actually search for.

A nice bonus of getting messaged by people who have the hots for Sabrina is I meet other fans.
