learn to use the terminal thingy.
if the combat stops being fun (or never was), just use godmode. if stealth is getting frustrating, use noclip. using the respective commands again disables their effect.

This sort of creature, which I have dubbed a Rook, is one of many larger creatures that I've encountered. They make their homes in dark corners, where humans visit but rarely stay, eating the energy left behind by other, smaller liminal creatures. This is not entirely dissimilar to the behavior of scavenger animals in the waking world.

Rooks fear witches, for whatever reason. Perhaps it is because they do not want to be seen?
