If I get a whiff of Grey Flannel cologne I'm transported to 1980, and making out with my first boyfriend at the drive-in theater.

It snows about 7-8 months a year in the north. I have to do this about 6-7 times in 24 hours when it snows. Now you can calculate how many times I remove snow from my deck every year. Good exercise, eh? Besides the winter workout, I am sending you love, warmth, joy, hope and positivity. Watch on YouTube: youtu.be/B0JKNO2CgdU

Hey, check it out, my wife just joined Mastodon. Go say hi to @PokeMom everybody!

The vile attacks on President Zelensky by MAGA are simply what anti-Semitism looks like.

After only one year of Taliban rule, girls and women have almost disappeared from Afghan society. They are not allowed to travel, to work alone, to go to public parks, to talk or laugh in public, and they are not allowed to study and to go to school... Photo: Boushra Almutawakel

If that's what's happening, this young one picked a prime spot for it. Under the neighbors' solar panels is prime pigeon nesting real estate, and there are dozens. We just added solar, and expect to have more pigeons. As long as it doesn't try to sweep down while I'm holding my parrot, I'm happy to live and let live.

It does look like a Peregrine, a juvenile with the darker brown on the chest. May be trying to get through first winter, trying to find a territory. It's rough out there! Have learned from a rough past year watching Cal Falcons @CalFalconCam calfalcons.berkeley.edu/

Because there's bros and there's hos, and it's always bros before hos, and if your bros can be your hos - well, that gets confusing for straight boys. They're easily confused.

I don't understand the anti-trans transhumanist techbros out there either.

My dudes, the entire point of transhumanism is radical bodily autonomy.

If you're hung up on what someone's original meatsack was, you're gonna have a bad time in the transhumanist future you're after.

Twitter cared about keeping your eyes glued to the screen, no matter what it took. They found out that doom-scrolling did that best, so that's what they did.

@BeazLouise@birds.town @mjohanning This looks a little like the bird that's been terrorizing my neighborhood birds, and occasionally turning my backyard into a crime scene, with drifts of feathers everywhere.

Congo African Gray. Very smart, very demanding, very destructive if not kept entertained, but also a treat to be around, and a devilish handful. She learned to bark and likes to set the dogs off. She waits till they're napping, then barks to make them scramble to the door and join in. Then she laughs at them (with my laugh, no less)
