So... me. Work in aerospace, more space, not as much aero. Can fix my own car, choose not to. Can fix the random appliance of your choice. Hardcore introvert in person, which is why I love online. Lifelong science fiction fan. Read constantly. Scalzi is my favorite author, because he mixes exactly the right amount of snark into his writing. My hybrid sat in the garage for a 2 week business trip, then another week of vacation. It didn't like that. I hit the unlock, the center display came on long enough to show "Battery low - entering shutdown mode" and everything died. It took me four hours to figure out how to get into the car, then get into the trunk, so I could put a charger on it.
Got my locked and dead car opened up and the battery on a charger. Battery had died last weekend bc my 4 year old turned on a dome light and I hadnβt needed the car so I just left it.
Key slot was jammed up, too, because I never use it. But lots of silicon lubricant later, Iβm in.
Felt like a thief in my hoodie in the pouring rain trying to break into my own car! Heh
The madness of even considering charging a six year old with a crime is inexpressible https://www.npr.org/2023/01/10/1147954361/virginia-school-shooting-6-year-old-legal-case #criminalLegalReform #CriminalJusticeReform #law #lawfedi @law
I got to debut Flick at #MAGFest last weekend, but I was so swamped I only got to bring him out a little bit. For next #fursuitfriday come find me at ANE! I'll still buy your bugs!

@0CynicalBastard Fun fact: Most of the world had a lower mortality rate than the US because they followed the pandemic guidelines set down by the US CDC. But the US didn't.

Dragged off somewhere, then dumped upside down in a stand of bushes? Yeah, I've had those days.

Of course, but to trigger one you have to jump to the left, then step to the right. Put your hands on your hips, then bring your knees in tight.
Abortion is a constitutional right.
I stand united with my fellow House Democrats to protect access to abortion and will fight tooth and nail to fully restore our reproductive freedom.

Thank you to Leader Hakeem Jeffries and the Democratic caucus for maintaining a united β and dignified β front over a long week.
He died doing what he loved, going to mixed baby showers and mocking every little thing, making sure the hostess heard him loud and clear.
