He wasn't my first choice for president, I didn't vote for him in the primaries, but he's done a hell of a job, and I *love* Dark Brandon.
@jpkeates
You joke, but they have museums that show that. Because the planet is only 6,000 years old, so dinos had to be around.
Went to an exhibition and was astonished to see a display where primitive man was interacting with dinosaurs.
Then I realised Iβd gone to the Notional History Museum by mistake.

Dems can call press conferences, issue statements, it might get a mention down in the corner of Page 7. McCarthy farts, and it's front page news.
But sure, "liberal media".
@uanews
There's also the morale issue. Ukraine knows it has the support of most of the world, Russia has criminals and draftees.
@lolgop
I think the simple framing Ukraine / Zelenskyy use is very effective: To those advocating peace talks, tell me which parts of your country you'd be willing to give up in exchange for peace.
Have to say I'm encouraged how even after Republicans cheering on a year of Putin's systematic raping and pillaging, most Americans still recognize evil.
This is my viewing setup, by the way.

Brand new instance, brand new #Introduction! Iβm the author of the Galactic Cold War series of #scifi spy novels, the most recent of which is THE NOVA INCIDENT. (https://dmoren.com/writing/galactic-cold-war/)
Iβm also a #technology journalist: I write regularly at Six Colors (https://sixcolors.com) and have a weekly column at Macworld.
And I also do a ton of #podcasts on technology and pop culture, including @rebound, @clockwise, and several shows at @incomparable.
@ScottSoCal @dabertime That's probably for the best. If you did you might be responsible for changing the future, and that never turns out well.
Annoying birds 4. About to prune this bush to stop it poking me in the eye when I get into my truck and found myself eyeball to eyeball with this. Very small, I think a Zebra dove. Sitting on the flimsiest nest imaginable. I tried to get it to agree a deal: I leave it alone if it stops using my truck as a toilet. A very nice page on them here https://rcannon992.com/2013/12/25/zebra-doves-an-appreciation/

I indulge it. I do lock myself in my room, and play music that guts me, and cry, for as long as I need to. And then when I'm done I wash my face and go downstairs and get on with my day. Like an emotion enema.
@ColinTheMathmo
OK, I get what you're after now. But I can't think of any practical aspect to it. I tend to think in terms of design or fabrication, and orthocenter just doesn't matter that way.
@ScottSoCal Your first sentence is true and complete as it stands, and I agree that that's how to compute a point that we subsequently call the ortho-centre.
But see my original post. It assigns a meaning to each of the in-centre, out-centre, and centroid.
So what does the ortho-centre mean? Which of these can be completed:
The Ortho-Centre minimises XXX
The Ortho-Centre maximises YYY
Does that make sense?
