I assume you did the right thing, and made sure the guy's hand was all right? He might have cracked a bone, or dislocated a finger.

You misspelled Gym Jordan.

Nah, it'll be fine.
Friday night nirvana coming right up, nice tea time power nap first, then I'll have a nice relaxing potter on with some things. We live in new times now, with a lot more pressure, so if you can get to that relaxation nirvana point, you've done well.
-stay blessed folks and have a jolly nice weekend . .

High net-worth individuals can afford better lawyers and tie things up for years. The auditors are evaluated based on how many cases, and their outcomes. The system is designed to reward going after people who lack the means to defend themselves.
"the researchers suggest that the I.R.S. has focused on audits that are easier to conduct and as a result, finds itself disproportionately auditing a historically disadvantaged group rather than other taxpayers, including high net-worth individuals."

Structural, yes, there are differences between male and female brains. Functional, no, it's just two paths to the same destination.

I foolishly agreed to a work/lunch meeting and took off my mask while the food was there, and had to quarantine for the next 10 days because a co-worker exposed the entire department.
Last time.
Almost every person I know who has been like "welp everyone is going to get covid eventually" has gotten covid. Not [all] of the people I know who are going hard have avoided getting covid. But enough folks have avoided getting it this whole time, including myself, that I know that masking and social distancing works. One of the only times I made an exception, in December 2021 I hung out with 3 friends. All of them got covid. Scared me straight and I've been more or less locked down since.
Good morning everyone and Happy Friday! Today I have lots of errands to run and things to tend to. I'll try and work on some art later. Traffic to my site has been super slow past few days, so not sure if folks are just busy or bored with my stuff already or what, but hopefully I can get things moving there again.

So... me. Work in aerospace, more space, not as much aero. Can fix my own car, choose not to. Can fix the random appliance of your choice. Hardcore introvert in person, which is why I love online. Lifelong science fiction fan. Read constantly. Scalzi is my favorite author, because he mixes exactly the right amount of snark into his writing.
