Yes, for us trans people it is natural to first check someoneβs profile wer pronouns and use the correct ones. But it is also ok to feel good about that because that can really brighten someoneβs day - just to see their correct pronouns being used. I had the same questions, but haven't come to any conclusions. I was formally diagnosed with PTSD, but autism explains a lot more of my life than PTSD does. So I think (for me) it could be both.
