Ok folks.... I've received a warning from the c.im moderator. Someone is reporting me saying i'm intolerant of religion. I appealed the warning, but should I be banned, oh well.... it's happened so many times, I really don't care. If I'm upsetting somebody's pet fantasy, I guess I should be banned. Mastodon must remain safe from dangerous people like me...
If you have to triage your support, you support the most at-risk first. Right now that's trans people.
Iβm pretty much done playing nice with so called progressive groups who are willing to throw trans kids under the bus just so they can go back to their funders and say they βpassed the bill to protect the children.β https://www.vice.com/en/article/qjv3qp/congress-is-pushing-an-online-safety-bill-supported-by-anti-lgbtq-groups
I carry canvas grocery bags in my trunk, and reusable metal straws in my backpack. It's not hard to do.
The smartass who lives in my head answered: "I used to, but then I started jogging. Now I have a svelte gut."
Ticklish is a state of mind, for me. In the right setting, with the right person, I'm very ticklish. When I'm feeling guarded (most of the time) I'm not ticklish.

Twelve random John & Jane Doe's, selected by the defense and the prosecution, from a jury pool at each of the four locations in which Trump has been charged (GA, DC, NY, FL) will judge Trump's guilt or innocence.
America is a democracy 'OF THE PEOPLE' and it is the 'PEOPLE' that will hold Trump accountable for his actions!

I run a room air conditioner year-round, so I can sleep with a heavy quilt on my bed.
I installed solar partly so I don't feel guilty about running an air conditioner year-round.
On the flip side, I get more weirded out by those impossible drawings. This one, of an impossible set of stairs, can make my eyes cross if I look at it too long, or study it too hard.

Ah - OK. I score high on that. I used to not understand how someone could see a blue print and not know exactly what the finished product would look like. I currently work in an engineering field, and it's useful.

Hi. If you see "Biden only gave {tiny amount} to help {issue X} while spending millions on Ukraine" in any of your social media, that is propaganda. It's from Putin's disinfo shops aimed at convincing the west to stop supporting Ukrainian defenses against the Russian invasion.
You can and should report and block those accounts.

Now I'm wondering what a "rotation task" is.
What something would look like if it was rotated on an axis?

That we're radically egocentric

And now you're doubling down. Yeah, that pretty much tells me who you are.
K thankx bye.

I don't know why, but he tap dances on my last nerve. I can't watch him.

"A detailed infodump is selfish."
It's possible this is just me, and I read this at the wrong time, but...
Calling it selfish seems more than a little judgmental and negative. One of those words that leads to after-the-fact self-flagellation because we did it wrong, not the way NTs do it, we're terrible, awful people. That seems unnecessary.
Mine usually get to the pain point. 2-3 hours after the aura starts, I have to be curled up in a blacked-out room, hoping to die. This one left me with a mild headache for a couple of days, but I had ataxia and vertigo so bad I had to crawl from my car to the house, I couldn't stand up. If I'd been further away from home, I don't know what would have happened.
I only get migraines every couple of years, so I hope it doesn't happen often.
So... me. Work in aerospace, more space, not as much aero. Can fix my own car, choose not to. Can fix the random appliance of your choice. Hardcore introvert in person, which is why I love online. Lifelong science fiction fan. Read constantly. Scalzi is my favorite author, because he mixes exactly the right amount of snark into his writing. Together with a guy 30+ years, married since it was legal. Own a home in CA and don't plan to leave unless I immigrate to another country.
