The right policies.
The right people.
The right President and Vice President.
Thank you, President Biden.
The economy is stable because the Democratic Administration in Washington is stable.
VP Kamala Harris has the experience and team to keep this going. #Harris2024

The And Still I Vote campaign works in strategic partnership with state organizations to mobilize voters to be the change they want to see. We get them the resources they need to use their power to ensure a multiracial democracy. We train the next generation of voting rights activists to change the narrative to ensure our democracy works for all of us.

I had family come to visit for a week. I saved my own sanity and future relationship with all of them by retreating to my bedroom for peace and quiet. Said I wasn't feeling well and needed it.
#AuDHD Frustration
@actuallyautistic So many good things happening, but yet I'm feeling seriously overloaded and overwhelmed. My family is visiting: awesome as I maybe see them once a year. They're looking at helping us get someone to seriously work on cleaning up this place. Amazingly cool--it needs it. I'm taking on a new job in an area I care about deeply, and my schedule for that is filling up. Also great--language is one of my spins and we need the cash. But my #ActuallyAutistic brain is screaming for a break. It's frustrating as hell. I want to be present for all this, to be engaged, but I'm struggling to process it all. I'm praying I don't actually end up with students on Saturdays yet, because I would give anything for *ONE* day of just nothing right now, and at the rate things are going, that doesn't look likely...
They might want to turn down the pressure on the impact wrench, first.
Good dad. Lucky daughter.

Hereβs what parenting can look like.
When I told my dad I was trans, my dadβs response was, βOh! I can send you jewelry now!β (He was retired and made jewelry as a hobby).
Two days latter, I had a letter in the mail addressed to Joelle, the first time βJoelleβ ever got mail, with a necklace in it. Later he made me this one. He told me, βI hope I got the colors right, I looked it up online.β
You donβt have to mourn a child transitioning. You can be the first to do so many affirming things.
I just donated to #MastodonForHarris! Please boost and join me if you're able! #KamalaHarris #YesWeKam

I started as a psych major (trying to figure people out) and switched to computer science. They made more sense, and followed logical rules.
@GottaLaff I'll settle for a small majority with a willingness to eliminate the filibuster.
Taking Dark Brandon to an exponential new level.

So... me. Work in aerospace, more space, not as much aero. Can fix my own car, choose not to. Can fix the random appliance of your choice. Hardcore introvert in person, which is why I love online. Lifelong science fiction fan. Read constantly. Scalzi is my favorite author, because he mixes exactly the right amount of snark into his writing. Together with a guy 30+ years, married since it was legal. Own a home in CA and don't plan to leave unless I immigrate to another country.
