If that's what's happening, this young one picked a prime spot for it. Under the neighbors' solar panels is prime pigeon nesting real estate, and there are dozens. We just added solar, and expect to have more pigeons. As long as it doesn't try to sweep down while I'm holding my parrot, I'm happy to live and let live.

Congo African Gray. Very smart, very demanding, very destructive if not kept entertained, but also a treat to be around, and a devilish handful. She learned to bark and likes to set the dogs off. She waits till they're napping, then barks to make them scramble to the door and join in. Then she laughs at them (with my laugh, no less)

It's pretty remarkable how much Elon's Twitter takeover is a textbook fascist takeover: leftists immediately purged, censorship regime imposed behind the scenes, secret police rooting out enemies, right wing terrorism supported by the state, etc and how uncannily similar the mainstream liberal response of pretending nothing is wrong is, even with *very low* costs of walking out the door and refusing to collaborate.
