This cello is strange and doesn't sound like the others, just goes awoo every so often 😁

@Tbsa
I kept reminding the people who were cheerleaders for Garland, back at the beginning, he was a COMPROMISE candidate for SCOTUS. His name came from Mitt Romney. He was never the one we wanted, he was just the one Romney promised would be acceptable to the GQP.
Surprise! Mitt lied.

@maddiefuzz
That's the most useful / best explanation I've seen for how focal depth affects the output. Thank you.

I'm looking for roles in #DevRel management for a friend. If you know of any, could you please send them my way? Also, please consider boosting this post for visibility. Thank you in advance. :revblobfoxcomputerowo:

@meetar
I know, that's why I got rid of them after that unfortunate party in college. I didn't want the pictures circulating.

Today we commemorate those deprived of their freedom for their views and beliefs. According to the calculations of Ukrainian historians, over a million people were arrested in Ukraine between 1927 and 1990, and 140,000 of them were shot.

@stopgopfox

@phaedral is correct. The news cycle, fed on an hourly basis, by the GOP loons makes it impossible to keep up on any one instance. That's why we need good #Historians to keep us reminded of the very long list of #GOP #Lies and #misinformation

They think that if they say it enough, we will eventually believe it. We have to fight back with a constant effort to serve up #facts and #science.

Stop giving religions a β€œpass” simply because they boast many adherents. A disheveled individual talking to herself on a street corner is seen as mentally ill - but if well dressed & surrounded by others doing likewise, she is seen as religious - even pious.
Abraham prepared to kill his son based on β€œGod’s instruction,” & is lauded for his obedience. Anyone doing so today would go to the psych ward & possibly prison. We must live in #reality rather than #fantasy. #criticalthinking #atheist #RTS

I never had a Twitter account, so take this for what it's worth. I looked at it a few times, but the noise-to-signal ratio just didn't work for me.
Mastodon doesn't feed me anything, it's all up to me. My feed is the people I've chosen to follow, and what they post and do. If one or more of them promote things I don't want to see, I can unfollow them, or block them, or only block the things they promote, leaving them untouched. Mastodon works for me.

Since there are no ads on Mastodon, I am offering to advertise for any companies on here. My only requirements are:

1. I get to write the ad.

2. The ad will in no way accurately portray your company and might state that you were responsible for the Cuban Missile Crisis.

3. For each post you must pay me $10,000 and write me a handwritten note that says I am your best friend.

4. You must put out an official statement stating that you take full responsibility for the Cuban Missile Crisis.

THE SEVEN HABITS OF HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE
1. Private School
2. Legacy Ivy admission
3. Nepotism hire
4. Seed capital from family money
5. Club memberships
6. Personal assistant, nanny, ghostwriter
7. Journalists who ask β€œwhat’s your secret?” and uncritically publish the lame answer

When we first started dating, we were *uh* getting handsy and I said "damn you're good at this" and he said "yeah I went to college." The funniest thing my husband ever said to me.
