When I go to work I leave my weirdness at home. But once I get home, I wear it like a tiara.

Many people try to hide their weirdness.

I keep mine in a box beside my desk so it’s out of the way, but still accessible.

I was pleased to speak at U.S. Department of Labor’s Black Business Building Good Jobs event today during #BlackHistoryMonth and #NationalEntrepreneurshipWeek to emphasize the importance of small businesses in providing opportunities to historically underserved communities.

Tamir Rice - a little boy playing in a park, shot without warning by someone who should have been protecting him.

My guest to tonight's State of the Union is Ms. Samaria Rice, mother of Tamir Rice, who was murdered by Cleveland Police in 2014.

I pray that Ms. Rice's attendance at the SOTU will give her hope that we can address innocent deaths at the hands of those sworn to protect and serve us.

We cannot sustain this police brutality epidemic. Police reform through community-driven solutions must be one of President Biden's top priorities.

Fav but not Boost: Nice.
Boost but not Fav: Other people should know about this but I don't really *like* it.
Fav and Boost: I'm now going to pretend I thought of this.

Every time I write a comic book, I put everything I can into it, because I can’t stop thinking, β€œThis might be the last time they let me write about these characters that I love.”

Let's get ready to pushback. It's going to be a messy road ahead but we need to continue to support the Biden-Harris Administration for continued progress.

A lot of supporters and #khive will be using the #BidenHarris2024 hash tag tonight during and after the SOTU. Feel free to join us.

"I don't understand why stealing $1000 in one direction is a felony that DAs give people years for, but in the other it's a civil matter where restitution and a fine are the usual punishments."

Because that's the golden rule: they who have the gold make the rules.

On the flip side, time card fraud *is* a felony, and people regularly go to jail for it. Timecard fraud is when an employee:

* Knows that their pay is determined by when they clock in and clock out
* Knowingly clocks in when they are not working, or clocks out significantly after they have stopped working

I don't understand why stealing $1000 in one direction is a felony that DAs give people years for, but in the other it's a civil matter where restitution and a fine are the usual punishments.

You're absolutely right. I must have watched that movie a couple dozen times, and every time he turned out to be a Nazi.

Accidentally used men’s body wash and had to mansplain to a woman riding a bicycle the correct way to ride a bicycle

He's just asking you to be a little more considerate, and schedule your illness in advance.
That can't be so hard, can it?

My boss referred to my taking sick days as β€œconstant short-notice requests for PTO” so I hope you’re all having a great day too

2023-01-10 day 211 of doing art every day for a year (mostly - I took sick days off).

I'm a bit behind in posting, so don't be surprised at a whole bunch of posts showing up in the next few days. 🀣

This is a Tatyworks watercolour tutorial. I learn a lot about Procreate and how I can use it with her tutorials. I've tried watercolours without her, and they were a mess. 🀣
