So... me. Work in aerospace, more space, not as much aero. Can fix my own car, choose not to. Can fix the random appliance of your choice. Hardcore introvert in person, which is why I love online. Lifelong science fiction fan. Read constantly. Scalzi is my favorite author, because he mixes exactly the right amount of snark into his writing. Together with a guy 30+ years, married since it was legal. Own a home in CA and don't plan to leave unless I immigrate to another country.

Everybody's family tree has an interesting spot or two. One leg of mine traces back to a disgraced priest in County Cork, who was defrocked and banished to The Colonies.
Would "Finding Your Roots" be nearly as interesting if they did normal people?
I just saw where #NFL star Tony Gonzalez was related to William Shakespeare.
Mine would probably be like "they lived in this Appalachian holler for 200 years.
Flinging birdseed has the same effect. Plus, nobody actually cares. By that time, everyone is drunk anyway.

There were also MAGAts there to cause trouble, damage property, and blame it on BLM protesters.
#OnMyWalk to more gorgeous #Camellias! Have loved them ever since I saw Garbo in Camille when I lived in NY in the β70s. Loved those old retrospective movie houses! And I actually saw Garbo on the street one day!! #BeKind #PinkFlowers Sending Love To You Allππ·ππΊππ₯°ππππ·ππΊππ₯°πππ·ππ·ππΊππ₯°ππππ·ππΊππ₯°ππππ·π
A rafter of turkeys stop by our yard almost every day (there are usually about 2 dozen of them).

This is the first time you've posted a song link when I could listen to it. You have an incredible, arresting voice.
But the song doesn't feel fire and darkness, to me, it feels like sanctuary.
Hey night owl
Here's a song that feels like fire and darkness

It's sort of like the multiverse in Everything Everywhere All At Once, but with fewer butt plugs. Or, maybe the same number of butt plugs. But definitely not more. Probably.

Don't release doves at your wedding. They have no idea how to survive in the wild, and they're attacked and killed by other birds, like crows.
This is Silly Bird. She was lucky, and my neighbor waded into a flock of Crows to save her. She would have been torn apart otherwise. She lived with me for 15 years, and she was sweet, gentle, and smart. She deserved better than to be tossed out because someone thought it would be pretty.
Welcome @joelato_gelato to the neighbourhood!!! And bloody marvellous it is too! The richness and diversity of independent traders in Stockbridge just keeps getting better and better. #independenttraders #shoplocal
Fuck right off, Jeff Bezos. Raise the cap. Thatβll take care of any βreformsβ. Raise the tax cap and stop trying to screw people.

On Aug 30th, 2022, ruzZians besieged a safe house used by πΊπ¦ resistance in Kherson. Inside, a group of partisans resisted for hours, killing 17 orcs. Hero Oleg Sylvestrov knew more ruzZians would arrive so he covered his comrades while they escaped.
Eternal glory to him.
