I set timers and alarms for *everything*. Doing laundry? Washer cycle is 50 minutes, dryer cycle is 70 minutes. Need to charge my ring? Set a countdown timer on my watch for the estimated charge time. Want to watch a TV show? Set an alarm for 15 minutes before it starts. That and checklists make my life work.
Itโs really a cruel irony that the best way to manage your ADHD is, essentially, โtry your hardest to not have ADHDโ.
Take a pill at around the same time every day? Sure, no problem. Itโs not like I have a brain thatโs particularly wired to specifically find that difficult.
