"In response, Badenoch said Tennant was โa rich, lefty, white male celebrity so blinded by ideology he canโt see the optics of attacking the only black woman in governmentโ
Meanwhile, Badenoch is so blinded by ideology she can't see the optics of having only one black woman in the Tory government.
Dear Starmer,
Feck off.
("David Tennant should have been more respectful when criticising Badenoch over LGBT views', says Starmer)

Anyone who votes for Trump to lower their taxes while ignoring his threat to the rule of law is shortsighted, ahistorical & doesn't understand what business needs to succeed argues Reid Hoffman in https://tinyurl.com/4x4f65xp.
But they'll have amazing quarterly earnings reports.
Until they don't.
The slavering alien overlords who will conquer us and turn us into people cutlets are stronger than nuclear bombs.
If nothing else, the opportunity for someone else to know they're not alone with their struggle.
I don't understand people that get upset when others discuss their personal issues in the open. I usually end up learning something about myself when I read about other people's struggles, even if I don't understand or empathize with those struggles.
No one is required to discuss their issues openly, but I think it benefits everyone when they do. It helps normalize such things.

One of the best things abt being in my 50s is that I care not one whit abt โdressing appropriately for my age.โ
I wore this skirt downtown one day & encountered a 6 y/o girl who was also wearing a full tulle skirt. As we waited for the traffic light to change, each of us looked at the other & said, โI LIKE YOUR SKIRT!โ at the same time.
Do something today that makes YOU happy. Your genuine happiness will add to the positive energy for all of us. Weโre all connected, you know.
They're also trying to eliminate no-fault divorce, making it much harder to leave a bad marriage.
Guess who will wind up with the shitty end of that stick? Women.
It's beginning to dawn on folks that abortion rights were just the first human rights to go under right-wing control of our top political offices, especially the courts.
Gay rights are in the Republican extremists' crosshairs. So is birth control. So is freedom of expression, and so much more.
The right wing never bought into civil rights in the first place.

Maybe Big Journalism will notice this with more than passing interest, but they'd have to wake up first.

It is important to note that, according to Russian law, the list of such places should have been approved long ago, but the information is being requested to be clarified because of a new "letter from the Russian Ministry of Culture."
Museum administrations have been given until 1 July this year to respond.
Another point in the letter states that at least some of the cultural and historical monuments will be taken outside the peninsula.
The letter was not published by the National Resistance Center, even though they have it, due to "sensitive information."
The Russians are trying to speed up the process of typification and evaluation of museum artefacts in Crimea. Museum workers are creating electronic registers of works of art and historical monuments and transferring information to the Russian electronic museum fund.
The letter was signed by Andrei Rostenko, the so-called deputy minister of culture of Crimea. He is the former head of the occupation administration of the city of Yalta in Crimea. Earlier, there was information about the start of the evacuation of military families from Crimea.
Recently, Ukrainian military said it has destroyed three Russian surface-to-air missile systems in Russian-occupied Crimea. Analysts believe it's only a matter of time before Kyiv might attack another vital target in Crimea: the bridge linking the occupied peninsula to the Russian mainland.

Very foggy morning in #Monterey #California #CaWx
Today will be a good day for the tourist sweatshirt vendors in town.
Also foggy south of there, in Ventura County. But it's just June Gloom, and it's already burning off. My solar panels will be generating in no time.

ASK QUESTIONS!
At the beginning of my training sessions I told people to interrupt me and ask - questions are welcome, even encouraged. The mentee I'm telling to go into the labs, watch what they're doing, and ask questions. I told him to ask me questions. That's how you learn. That's how I learned.

I will, too.
