Day 52: I'm Out!

A song by an acclaimed artist that I just don't get.

Unpopular opinion alert.

Anti-Hero by Taylor Swift. I'll agree that she's a great lyricist, but her music does zilch for me. So generic sounding.

Jessamyne Rose is retiring from modeling. She helped make me who I am. She deserves every blessing. She deserves love. She deserves peace. I'm manifesting this into the universe.

For parents of high school juniors and seniors, I think this advisory is something you should take very seriously when looking for colleges and universities for your student. I do not consider Florida to be a safe place for my family. #florida #lgbtq #ally eqfl.org/florida-travel-adviso

Now the only way for me is to join the army - says a man who has just lost his wife and daughter in Kherson. No soldiers are more motivated than those who have lost everything. Today there is one more.

Watching the response by many cis folks to twitter and the Antisemitic FART/TERF Wizard lady, it's become increasingly clear to me that the level of allyship a lot of them are willing to engage in is "I'll do anything to protect Trans/Queer/Jewish/Black folks that doesn't stop me doing whatever I want to do, and is less than a minor inconvenience. Ideally it should be fun, like parties and parades."

*Sigh*

Cis people need to do better.

Sometimes I get the urge to write. An idea unfolds and it refuses to go away until I've written it out. I'm on Chapter 3 of what will be my fourth novel. The first was fantasy. The second two were science fiction. This one is an LGBT romance.
And, somehow, even when other people read them, tell me they love them, tell me I should publish them, I can't get up the nerve to do it. Writing is too important to me to have someone else crap on it. Maybe someone will find them after I'm dead.

Someone just called me a pompous snob.

I was so flummoxed, my monocle fell right into my shark fin soup.

Saying women can’t choose to have abortions unless we’re raped is telling us we don’t EARN autonomy over our own bodies until a man violates it.

Decided to quit caffeine and discovered something very interesting without it: Did you know that every single person is extremely irritating?

On 15th April 1945 the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp was liberated. Some 50,000 prisoners including around 3,500 children died in the camp of hunger, disease or physical violence. Those who died included Jews, Czechs, Poles, anti-Nazi Christians, homosexuals, Roma and Sinti. When the camp was liberated soldiers found thousands of unburied bodies.

When we come to the Carpathians, we definitely buy cheese horses. It is very tasty. There, according to tradition, it is placed in the Easter basket. In the Vinnytsia region, we bake a cheese casserole. Today I will assemble the basket and show what we will put in it.

Not to brag, but I just put together an IKEA bookshelf in record time ... 3 years, nine months and 27 days.

This afternoon I had a text chat with an Apple sales rep named Laura, asking for help figuring out how to trade in multiple computers to buy one. When she was done helping me, she asked if she could say something. Intrigued, I said yes. Here’s that conversation:
