The Hungarian prime minister has cozy relations with Moscow, repeatedly stalls European Union sanctions, and insists that Kyiv should be forced to negotiate a peace deal. wapo.st/3jkJsFc

I don’t know whether Mike Pence is running for president, but I do know we’ve already had six years with Pence as a national figure and at best, they were underwhelming.

We are literally at six Pence, none the richer.

Reminder: Elon Musk personally being sued by Tesla shareholders for destroying value of the company. Expect many more of these lawsuits t.co/vOsNoeGiWx

I Iove this language. Because it makes sense.
Unlike Russia's maddening illogical trolling use of the same words to justify 'retaliating' (=missile strikes against civilians and infrastructure) against Ukraine acting to prevent further Russian invasion murders.

I think it’s important to repeat: you don't "have something to hide" when you put blinds on your windows or close the door when you're on the can or wear clothes.

Privacy isn't about having something to hide. It's not about keeping secrets. It's about you being the person who chooses what you reveal about yourself, and when, and to who, and the other word we have for that is "dignity". Your inherent dignity, as a human being.

Your privacy is the agency you have over your dignity.

This is #Zelensky as he was dressed to speak to a joint session of the US Congress. A military commander-in-chief wearing what amounts to dress battle fatigues with the crest of his nation. It's obvious this was the image he wanted to project.

A leader at war.

Cowardly Republicans who carry water for #Putin have been dogpiling him for not wearing a suit. Which reminds me a lot of Republicans dragging President Obama for wearing the wrong color suit.

In a saner society, every one of these Republican culture war gambits would be recognized for what they are: red herrings. Use of red herrings means you've conceded the main argument. That is, if you have any self-respect or dignity.

People on the left often make the mistake of trying to seriously engage the red herring instead of just shaming the person for being obtuse and intellectually dishonest

We know why Zelensky made the choice he made. And so do Republicans.

If I was from Arkansas, I would be worried about the governor of my state one day walking right up to the podium and saying, β€œMy daddy says I’m the best at French kissing.”

White House spokesman Abdullah Hasan states.

"Governor Abbott abandoned children on the side of the road in below freezing temperatures on Christmas Eve without coordinating with any Federal or local authorities. This was a cruel, dangerous, and shameful stunt."

When she saw this tweet a few years ago, a friend in Texas said, "I've never been so offended by something I agree with 100%.

Some inconvenient facts about immigrants that MAGAs hope you ignore:

β€’Seeking asylum is a legal & human RIGHT, protected by the US Constitution and the UN Convention on Refugees (to which the USA is a signatory)

β€’Both documented AND undocumented immigrants have LOWER crime rates than US Citizens (and usually higher vaccination rates too)

β€’Undocumented immigrants pay MORE in taxes ($12B annually) than Trump ever has or will (and get none of the tax benefits)

Earlier this year, my wife took a snapshot of our daughter living her best life at the park.

It matched perfectly with a short poem I had written about my little girl. Hopefully someone gets a small amount of enjoyment out of it. πŸ™‚

BREAKING: Mike Pence has announced he’s running for president in 2024. I just want to make it VERY CLEAR that I, The LORD, think that Mike Pence sucks.

It’s one thing for Elon Musk to wish ill will on Democrats β€” not a terribly wise business move, but whatever. But now he’s lauding Russian government statements calling for the destruction of the United States. I’m sorry, but that’s seriously screwed up.
