@ScottSoCal @Coachmark You youngsters #LOL My collections go from 1914, WW ditties, Tin Pan Alley, Al Jolson, Billie Murray, to about 2021.. And fewer each year since. I try to keep a few popular hits from each year along the way. I still have them crammed on MP3 Data CDs, my Truck doesn't have input ports.
I was also a DJ, so most of the music after 90s is Dance Music of one genre or another.
And I play 7 #heardle every morning. https://halifaxsocial.ca/@Rasta/109709961366508871
Wanna play? I've a lot of music
The right wants us to think there is an equivalence between the Trump and Biden documents stories.
The truth is, they're not even close, as Rep. Dan Goldman made clear in his excellent Twitter clapback to Jim Jordan: https://www.comicsands.com/jordan-dan-goldman-trump-biden-2659271828.html?utm_source=mastodon&utm_medium=toot&utm_campaign=sand
It's not The Onion, just the Texas Legislature.
SB 471 would fine Texans for making complaints about ongoing pollution to the state agency that regulates pollution. Their mission: "Protecting Texas by reducing and preventing pollution."
Compliments of an elected official who receives legal bribes from oil and gas.

About Invisible People
There is a direct correlation between what the general public perceives about homelessness and how it affects policy change. Most people blame homelessness on the person experiencing it instead of the increasing shortage of affordable housing, lack of employment, a living wage or the countless reasons that put a person at risk. This lack of understanding creates a dangerous cycle of misperception that leads to the inability to effectively address the root causes of homelessness.
We imagine a world where everyone has a place to call home. Each day, we work to fight homelessness by giving it a face while educating individuals about the systemic issues that contribute to its existence. Through storytelling, education, news, and activism, we are changing the narrative on homelessness.
Yesterday I was part of a group that peacefully protested the expansion of a coal mine in Germany. We were kettled by police and then detained but were let go later that evening.
Climate protection is not a crime.

Good to see this acknowledgment that Republicans demagogue on deficits & spending to hurt Dem administrations but balloon the deficit with tax cuts for the rich during R admins. Thing is, it's not some accident or failing of the GOP. It's not a deviation. It's the whole point.
@KBaileyBooks @ScottSoCal
at least here it's a little star and not a heart like on certain other sites
@ScottSoCal I think of favoriting as letting someone know that what they had to say was seen by someone, noticed and absorbed for the reason it was shared. I do favorite sad things so people know that sadness didnβt just disappear into a void and they are not alone.
Recognizing sadness and other vital human emotions is all part of achieving fulfilling joy. Those who dive to the bottom, still maintaining their balance, also float longer. Among the woods of the boreal forest, I created healthy vibrations to help you to return to joy while valuing sadness/diving.

@talia_christine Glad to hear: I'd hoped not to have to visit Bed Bat'leth & Beyond
