I'm a 52 year-old cishet Canadian man of Tamil descent. I feel tired every single day. I loathe the MAGA/Brexit nostalgia, the longing for days when things were concretely worse for so many (including me & mine).

But I remember that there are so many — black, indigenous, trans — who tolerate worse indignities (and also larger systemic cruelty & injustice) daily just existing even now.

I pick myself up, breathe deep, & press on. Gotta do the work. For everyone.
