TIL that profiles on mastodon can be locked and that’s represented (on this iOS app at least) with a tiny little grey lock on the very top corner of the user’s profile.

@salith to my knowledge, Jetbrains still calls it a “child” process but I’ve never used multiprocessing in python so idk

Reddit’s mad because python renamed the terminology of “master/slave” for processes to “parent/child”.

Who uses “master/slave” to describe processes anyways?
