It was an interesting experiment as I couldn't really skip songs, so I ended up re-experiencing some albums I hadn't heard in their entirety in a while.
I also ended up re-ripping a bunch of 160-192kbps tracks to VBR for better quality. Couldn't get *everything*, but I'm satisfied.
Finally went through my "music pool" playlist chronologically.
Started with Elvis Presley's "Hound Dog" from 1956.
Ended with Neil Cicierega's "Shit" from 2017.
61 years of music. From rock, to rap, to... weird mashups. It was a fascinating experiment, at least.
I'm near the end of my MP3 collection, and it's clear I don't have a lot of stuff after 2000.
And I have a *lot* of goofy/meme songs like Jungle All the Way.

as I start to understand trans culture more, I've realized that flannel shirts and long colorful socks is trans culture.
