My priorities when ripping music off old CDs:
Song someone mentioned on my socials? Yeah I got that, lemme find the CD and rip it immediately.
Song I heard on some YouTube videos about Star Citizen? Yeah I got that, lemme find the CD and rip it immediately.
A White Stripes album I bought months ago and has a fair share of bangers on it?
Eh, I'll rip it later.
I've been using Windows 10 for a few years now, and only today did I realize that turning off some background apps can make things less laggy and load faster.
There were a lot of built-in apps I don't use, just running in the background eating up memory and disk space. Even games like Asphalt 8 *and* 9 were running in the background when I've stopped playing both.
I selectively turned most of them off but I probably could've turned the whole feature off with minimal problems.
Oh yeah, pronouns. I've put "prefers they/them" in my profile for the past few months, which is not something I'm strictly enforcing.
To me pronouns don't really matter? It doesn't bother me as much if someone says "he/him" because they're not *wrong*. So use whatever pronouns fit, idk
It took me a while to like, figure out who I was (besides "not a cis male"), and being NB seems to be the most comfortable fit for me.
This may change someday, maybe it won't. For now, though, I'm okay with non-binary.
game show music nerdery
today I learned there was another theme composed for that short-lived Match Game Hollywood Squares Hour, and boy it sounds like it fell straight out of 1978: https://youtu.be/cY-kO2Gf3jM?t=255
(it's also better than the actual show theme )
