finally dawning on me that I genuinely need some sweaters, fleece-lined leggings and some winter-made boots because it's already cold as hell

so on Friday I went to a local furry dance party thing with my partner.
I had fun dancing (as much as I could, anyway), but even in an environment where I could be myself, I kept masking myself.
My partner definitely helped me be more at ease (combined with being under a few influences), but I keep thinking about the ideal version of me vs. the me that I publicly express, and how they're not one and the same.
I wanna get better at that. Somehow.
