I swear to god, once a month I have to recalibrate the brightness, contrast and color saturation on my damn monitor and it never looks right.

It's either too bright or too dark, colors either blend too much together or look almost black and white.

It's so frustrating to me.

Today I learned that the entire score for Beverly Hills Cop II was released two years ago by La-La Land Records.

This makes me very giddy because that soundtrack is pretty much late '80s personified, and is one of my personal favorites.

Helps it's also by Harold Faltermeyer, one of the gods of synthesizer scores.

After giving it a proper listen for the first time in a long while, Peter Gabriel's So still holds up.

Listening to Duran Duran's A View to a Kill, and now I'm reminded of that creepy-ass Bond intro from that film that had all the women dancing in the dark, painted with neon colors.

That's the stuff of nightmares.

Finally bothered to remove the last few places I still had 8-bit Alex Trebek as my avatar.

This song being propelled to meme status is a bummer because it's a decent song.

Rosanna was the better track off that album, though.

I've noticed that when a trans person transitions, that they share more selfies of themselves. More than they've probably ever had pictures taken of them in their lives.
