television copaganda

found out that World's Wildest Police Videos is on YouTube and have been casually rewatching them.

That was one show that I used to watch a lot, primarily because of the shocking content.

Nowadays it's a bit of a harder watch, especially when some of the police's actions are lauded and praised.

It's a thing that could potentially work as an essay about how prevalent cop shows were in the 1990s...

hey if I want to listen to elvis costello and the attractions' "(I don't want to go to) Chelsea" on loop for a half hour I should be allowed to without being shamed for it

I used to have a foobar2000 plugin that kept count of the number of times I played a song.

downside is this got me to like, feel ashamed for listening to the same song for an hour

so I'm glad it broke when I updated foobar2000 to 2.0, I don't need that guilt.

Forgot how good the soundtrack to Valis III on the Genesis was.

(I should probably play it sometime.)

was looking through my library of books and found out I have all but three of John Gardner's run of James Bond novels.

maybe that's what I'll read next sometime.

mild spoilers for myhouse.wad, a doom level

I mean, that eerie tune that plays during myhouse definitely hits me in a way I didn't expect.

makes it pretty easy to hit me in the feels and cry, that's for sure.

New on the Secret Area: It's Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit.

A story of "how the hell did I get this game?" had me finding a perfectly average action-platformer.

Likes, shares and comments appreciated, as always.

sort of an open poll for all trans folk:

when you started taking HRT, did it make you want to expand and try new things? like food, books, games, stuff like that?

I ask because I noticed I've been more open to trying out stuff and I wonder if that's common or just me changing my line of thinking.

On LRT there: not only is staying on Twitter "because your livelihood depends on it" kind of a short-term notion at this point, but it can poof in an instant. My studio account over there is still banned. Straight up. No explanation. I appealed the decision weeks ago. Nada. It's just gone.

I get that you need to keep posting stuff there right this second, that's fine, but HOLY CRAP do not keep relying on it moving forward. You need to be actively migrating away, rapidly, with all haste, to literally anywhere else, because that place is (already) toast.

Pride is a fucking protest.
Pride is a fucking riot.
It is time for Gay Wrath and it must be constant and unyielding.

One of the albums I bought recently was full of themes by famous TV composer Mike Post.

One of them was for a mostly forgotten 90s show called Renegade.

Now I'm watching the pilot to Renegade, which is a dumb goofy action show, something I kinda love.

New on Patreon: It's Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit.

A case of "How the hell did I get this game" lead me to a game involving a cute rabbit and hell.

Being a trans person means suddenly having to be an expert on endocrinology, fetal development, genetics, psychology, anthropology, civil rights law, and now the history of genocide, just to explain, justify, and advocate for our existence and experiences.
