We have silenced witches.town following posts from the instance admin advocating self-harm. We have chosen not to fully suspend the instance yet due to the size of the instance and activity of their users there.

As a reminder, silenced instances are still federated with, only hidden from public timelines. However, as per standard procedure in Computer Fairies, blocks of either kind are accompanied by a media block, so images will not show.

Computer Fairies will be left running update processes overnight. DB migration is expected to take around an hour, after which, if everything goes well, the instance should briefly go down as it restarts with the new version, 2.0rc2.

anticapitalist.party has been suspended from Computer Fairies following an incident where one of their (then) moderators harassed another instance admin and later denying such claims against the evidence presented.

Computer Fairies does not tolerate any sort of harassment, especially not from those who are supposed to uphold a healthy community, much less towards owners of other instances, who already have a lot of work to deal with themselves.
