@selectric i still read CBC news for Vancouver, and have four or five Lower Mainland locations saved in my weather app. It makes me less homesick to know what’s going on
@alexcox to pre-empt potential questions:
1) I took that photo during a trail race (this is a climb called “Galactic Scheisse”)
2) I live in London, Ontario, Canada, not the London on the Bad European Island
3) I express my queer tackiness through rainbow gradients
fitness
Conditions outside are too cold and windy for me to want to run much, to say nothing of the monster drifts of powder that would turn things into a slog right away. And yet, I have my first 60km race in less than two months, so training is essential. Thankfully my coach gave me only two easy 1hr runs this weekend, which are simple enough to tackle with #Zwift and my treadmill. #running #ultratraining
@hergaiety God damn what the hell, I'm sorry!
@ultranurd genuine literal LOL
@ry That'd be Wren! That boy is unstoppable
Enjoying some quality time out in the blizzard. We got less snow than I’d hoped, but the wind is something else. #ontariostorm
@TuaoloTheJag this is a power move
@emily Best of luck on the road to full recovery! Even 20 minutes in conditions like these ought to give your recovery a bonus multiplier, video game style. And hell yes to the serenity and mindfulness that comes from being the only person on a trail in severe weather.
