@cpi Early 2010 for sure – my coworkers and I left work early to go watch the Vancouver Olympics torch procession go up Cambie Street, and I remember being way overdressed in a heavy coat and a wig. 2010-2012 was me figuring out my style (with massive help from my wide), and I spent 2013-2016 trying to get comfortable in my body through nutrition and exercise. It helped but didn't solve the dysphoria, so I started HRT in November 2017.

A photo storage site from the mid-2000s just emailed me to ask for money to preserve the photos I put on there 15 years ago and then forgot. I downloaded them before deleting the account. What a weird time capsule. Who was this guy from July 2008

@SleepyCatten It is a trigger point massage gun for pulverizing knots in screwed-up muscles. One could use it as a sex toy, but the attachments wouldn’t feel great, I don't think, and the vibrations are pretty coarse.

Blasting my quads, calves, and back with this thing has improved my recovery time from running workouts, made me care about flossing, and improved my credit score

After two hours out of the house with all four cats (for the sake of an open house) I am home, laid up with a bad back, and Oni is purring and rubbing her face all over me

She had diarrhea in this carrier 45 minutes ago, while we were parked down the block for a showing. We couldn’t do anything about it for 15 minutes. She is now bathed, the carrier is rinsed out and drying, and we are all fucking exhausted

So far as I know, my options to experience this are

1) AR/VR (costly, cumbersome, can buy from a store, relies on others to model and program the experience [at first])

2) Psychedelic drugs (affordable, illegal, need to know a source, relies on the random and highly improbable intersection of my synapses and the universe to produce meaningful results)

3) Lucid dreaming (has never worked for me even once due to having an antagonistic brain)
