@alexcox to pre-empt potential questions:
1) I took that photo during a trail race (this is a climb called “Galactic Scheisse”)
2) I live in London, Ontario, Canada, not the London on the Bad European Island
3) I express my queer tackiness through rainbow gradients
fitness
Conditions outside are too cold and windy for me to want to run much, to say nothing of the monster drifts of powder that would turn things into a slog right away. And yet, I have my first 60km race in less than two months, so training is essential. Thankfully my coach gave me only two easy 1hr runs this weekend, which are simple enough to tackle with #Zwift and my treadmill. #running #ultratraining
Enjoying some quality time out in the blizzard. We got less snow than I’d hoped, but the wind is something else. #ontariostorm
werewolf thoughts, self-directed gore, positive
I want to get a werewolf bite on my left shoulder, hard enough to sustain a minor collarbone fracture to go with the arc of deep puncture wounds. I want to know that by its very nature, the bite is going to heal itself within a few days, and then do so much more.
Horror art. Woodcut of a scary werewolf.
"Outskirts"
Beware, fair traveler, for a thick mist hath been spotted at the dead of night; these conditions will make our journey by horse perilous. The journey ahead may be fraught with danger, so best to be prepared or stay put if thou canst.
Woodcut companion piece to "At the Gas Station" (look @ my profile Media). Done with Midjourney v4, Topaz Gigapixel, and overpainting in GIMP.

#tf, birb, you
It takes a year to become a bird. Feathers popping up now and then. Teeth becoming a beak. Arms spread into wings, huge and light. You're a giant sparrow, keeping most of your size.
Then comes learning to flap, and fly, and land. It'll also take time, and you might get some scrapes, and it'll be worth it.
You still know words, but you need to learn how to make them again, as a sparrow. Singing comes to you more quickly.
trans & neurodiverse community thoughts
It is a difficult world for trans and neurodiverse people. We often devolve into infighting and cruelty against each other, which is wild when you consider how effectively parts of the allistic cis world is already doing that. It is nice to foster a community of entities who have some basic traits in common with you, and then to enjoy the personal and cognitive differences between us.
