New study finds "no substantial evidence of any biological advantages for trans women competing in elite women's sport."

"'What threatens women's elite sport, for cis and trans women, is not trans women, but is rather misogyny in the form of underfunding, non-parity in participation and leadership, inequitable sport space allocation/access, and a range of sporting opportunities not afforded to women...in equitable ways.'"

gender feelings, non-human feelings

I changed my profile pic to my human appearance and it made me think about how I only really feel comfortable seeing my human form when I’m dressed up nice. That introduces a conflict! Often dressing up “nicely” introduces a degree of discomfort. Wearing a bra, or a belt because my narrow hips don’t keep my shorts where they should be. But when I’m dressed so, I’m loathe to get comfy again because then I’ll feel less like a human I’m happy to see in the mirror.

An important feature of any person’s domicile: a good bathroom mirror for selfies

Neurotypical is the human equivalent of "Works on my machine"

Fellow "Heat" (1995) fans - I just found an amazing Easter Egg on the Blu-ray. It's an early edit of the infamous Pacino/De Niro coffee shop scene, created early in the film's production when director Michael Mann wanted the scene to be shorter and have a lot less dialogue. It's much moodier and more threatening than the final version, if you ask me.

Since we’re apart until March my wife surprised me in the mail with this werewolf pendant that is meant to be an invocation of lycanthropic transformation and I’m currently experiencing too many (good) emotions to process. Excited for the to commence at any time.

I've been advised in a manner most flattering that my story "They Say Don't Get Clocked" ought to be nominated for a or a , so it's temporarily available for $0.00 (or donation).

"They Say Don't Get Clocked" is a story of pure catharsis. It references almost every moment of discomfort and otherness I have felt as a trans woman, and it celebrates the elation and power of becoming my true self. I'm proud of it and I hope you like it!

you'll never get me to confess to being even partly human 🙅‍♀️

You should commission @mavica_again for a pixel portrait! It did TWO of me (CGA-style and Macintosh System 7 style) and.. it JUST occurred to me that they are basically the only stylized images of my human self that I like seeing. maple.pet/commissions

If my friends can’t go up there, I don’t want to either 🚫🐕😤
