As of today I have officially stopped using Chrome as a browser for any reason. Since 2021 I’ve only used it on my work MacBook as a web dev tool, but I’ve switched to Firefox and I’m sticking with it.

Sabino Canyon is such a beautiful place to run, but I’m really looking forward to the taper starting on Sunday. 😩💨

Writing a self-promo post and unconsciously parroting the dreadful "MaxFun podcast promo" style of writing

Yesterday's 6-hour long run in the desert was not as successful as I was hoping. The course I'd mapped for myself (sight unseen) at Tucson's Saguaro East park had me running in loose sand for half the time, which is miserable. My pace fell behind, which meant my hydration ran out. I stopped after 5 hours and felt bad about it, but some encouraging words from my coach have me in a better headspace about today's 3-hour effort. Even a tough mile on sand is time on feet!
