Despite being conceived and released as an April Fools joke, "Ed Mastery" is arguably and seriously the best comprehensive guide to using ed(1) to its fullest potential. After reading the book, the standard text editor *will* become one of your go-to editors.

@mavica_again Amazingly enough, my current tech support patient is a horizontal HP desktop computer big enough to support a (lightweight flat) monitor.

I tried looking up info on it and failed, but I discovered that a surprising number of HP's business desktops are horizontal boxes begging to live under a monitor now. (Hardly any Dell and Lenovo desktops, though.)
