re: Windows 11
I miss when Microsoft tended not to give multiple different products the same name. Instead, we have:
Surface & Surface: a portable tablet & a freaking coffee table,
Outlook, Outlook, and Outlook: a built-in Windows component, a pay-for productivity application, & a website unrelated to the other two,
Fourteen (!) different Windows 10 versions: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_10_version_history
And now 6 different Windows 11 versions: 21H2, 22H2, 23H2, 24H2, 25H2, & 26H1.
This cheeky mouse, I swear-
A cheeky meme I thought of (since Ren and I have been trying to sort our transmission fluid) 😉

Windows 11
My tech support patient today is a laptop with Windows 11 installed.
However, Windows 11 has reached end of support, and I can't upgrade it from Windows 11 to Windows 11 because, while the CPU was compatible with Windows 11 and is actually listed as an approved CPU for Windows 11, the CPU is not compatible with Windows 11 and in fact the entire CPU series is missing from the list of approved CPUs for Windows 11.
This is some serious "Who's on First?" vibe of Kafkaesque hell.
