I just realized what a powerful influence Star Trek: TOS had on me. Thanks to CBS's tacky '00s CGI effects replacing Desilu's cheesy '60s model/rotoscope effects, I've developed an unhealthy distrust of absolutely everything appreciated in its original run and now available only in remastered editions.

Periodic reminder that RSS is still alive and well. Lots of websites still have up to date RSS feeds, and RSS feed readers still exist for every OS as well as every major browser.
